Applications for Machine Tool

Booster stations

(high-pressure coolant feed for internally cooled tools)

Screw Pumps are especially well-suited for supplying internally cooled tools with high-pressure coolant. Their major advantages are the compact design, low costs, long service life, virtually pulsation-free operation and low energy consumption. ALLWEILER''s EMTEC® series is a global technology leader.
For medium-pressure applications, multi-stage centrifugal pumps are also used.

Cooling lubricant circulation systems

(external coolant feed with low pressure)

Single-stage centrifugal pumps are the most cost efficient solution for external coolant feeds. They will also exhibit the longest service life.

Centralized cooling-lubricant supply systems

At large production sites, cooling lubricant is often processed centrally before it is provided to the individual production processes. High-volume single-stage centrifugal pumps are usually the best choice for these situations.

Other pumping systems are used whenever the centralized system must supply a high initial pressure.
