Colfax Fluid Handling to Deliver Chemical Pumps
Colfax Fluid Handling, a business unit of Colfax Corporation (NYSE: CFX), has received an order to deliver five Allweiler propeller pumps for a chemical plant in Saudi Arabia. The pumps are specially designed for use during production of explosive materials and are valued at approximately €900,000.

Colfax Fluid Handling delivers bitumen pumps to Russia
Colfax Fluid Handling delivered a package of 21 Allweiler screw and centrifugal pumps for a bitumen production facility in Russia. The pumps are an important part of the plant, which is located in Novoshakhtinsk (Rostov region) and produces bitumen according to the "Biturox" process from Vienna-based Pörner Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH.

Major order for All-Optiflow progressing cavity pumps
Colfax Fluid Handling will deliver 36 units of Allweiler's new All-Optiflow series of pumps for the large Ambarli sewage plant near Istanbul. These progressing cavity pumps move sludge and exhibit very high energy efficiency. Their capacity is up to twice as high as conventional pumps. All-Optiflow pumps are suitable for moving virtually any liquid, including those that contain fibers and solids.

Allweiler to exhibit All-Optiflow and Alldur at IFAT
Allweiler GmbH will exhibit its new All-Optiflow pump series at the IFAT 2012 trade fair in Munich, Germany. These new progressing cavity pumps are designed for use in waste handling, wastewater treatment, and paper manufacturing, among other applications. In addition to the All-Optiflow pumps, Allweiler will also focus on Alldur stators at the trade fair. Alldur is a new, highly wear resistant stator material that is ideal for use in sewage treatment plants.

Allweiler Delivers Chemical Pumps Worth €1.7 Million to Chinese Customer
In October 2010, Allweiler AG fulfilled a large order for centrifugal pumps in China. The PET, glycol, and thermal oil pumps are part of expanded polyester production in Wujiang. A large number of Allweiler pumps have been in operation at the site since 2003. Allweiler AG is a business unit of Colfax Corporation.

Allweiler Delivers Propeller Pumps Worth €1.9 Million to Chinese Customer
Allweiler AG, a Colfax Corporation business unit, has received a major order for pipe-bend propeller pumps from a Chinese customer. The eight pumps will be used for salt production and were scheduled for delivery in October of 2010. A follow-on order for another €0.5-million has already been awarded. Allweiler's products were selected primarily because they are well-adapted to operating conditions encountered during salt production.

Allweiler awarded €5-million order for Iraqi power plants
Allweiler AG, a Colfax business unit, will deliver fuel-injection skids through Siemens AG for use in gas turbines in Iraq. The first two systems will be completed in early 2011. The Iraqi Ministry of Electricity has ordered an additional five skids and has options to purchase three more. All of the systems have the special ability to switch between several different liquid fuels without shutting down the turbines.

Lower operating costs by 75% without additional investment
Allweiler AG, a Colfax Corp. company, has developed a new system for regulating the speed of its screw pumps. "Allspeed" is a control system that forgoes the use of valves. It enables use of smaller pumps with a smaller motor. Standard cage rotor motors may be used without external ventilation. Allspeed augments the Emtec series, which is designed specifically for pumping coolants in tool machines.

Alldur stators from Allweiler have up to triple service life
Allweiler AG, a member of Colfax Corporation, will present a new stator material at the IFAT trade fair in Munich (September 13 to 17). "Alldur" was specially developed for use in sewage treatment plants and for pumping abrasive wastewater. The elastomer's new chemical composition and Allweiler's processing methods increase service life by up to three times. "Alldur" stators are now available in all of the company's progressing cavity pumps.

Allweiler is looking for its oldest pump

The company employs an analytical program that shows conversion options or suitable replacements for pumps that are already in service. National and international regulations now require low-sulfur fuels, especially in coastal areas and while ships are in port.

Allweiler wins major order for Irish power plant
In March 2009, Allweiler AG, a subsidiary of Colfax Corporation supplied an Irish customer with ten pumps for moving oily water. The order was closed in cooperation with Allweiler’s Swiss partner schubag. The pumps are used in a gas/steam combined-cycle power station constructed in Aghada, Ireland by Swiss firm Alstom AG. The client is state-owned power company ESB Power Generation. The order is valued at over 200,000 €.

Allweiler’s new global service centers for its Emtec series of pumps will enable the company to more efficiently serve tool-machine customers around the world. These high-pressure pumps are used primarily to move critical cooling lubricants in tool machines. Service centers in Europe, the United States, and Asia will provide Allweiler customers with on-site advisory and maintenance services plus emergency service and rapid spare parts delivery. Allweiler introduces new “Allfuel” series of pumps for lubricating liquids
Allweiler AG, a business unit of Colfax Corporation, has been delivering its new “Allfuel“ series of screw pumps to customers since May. The new series is designed to move oils and other lubricating liquids with a maximum discharge pressure of 40 bar. Allfuel pumps are available in six different construction types, allowing them to adapt to a variety of pumping tasks and installations. Colfax provides pumps worth $2 million for new oil pipeline in Gabon
At the end of last year Colfax Corporation delivered fifteen pumps and two pump skids to French oil and gas concern Maurel et Prom. The products are used in an oil field in Gabon. They transport crude oil more than 140 km, clean the pipeline with high-pressure water, and help treat the oil and improve its flow properties. The pumps were manufactured by Colfax companies Allweiler and Warren; the pump skids were produced by Imo.

Safe and Clean: Allweiler Pumps with Allseal
Screw pumps made by Allweiler AG are now available with a new opto-electronic module. Known as "Allseal”, this new product detects wear of the mechanical seal as soon as it begins and immediately warns the operator of any leaks.
